Annapolis is a city in the United States and the capital of the State of Maryland. It is situated at the mouth of the Severn River which flows into the famous Chesapeake Bay.

If you love boats or boating excursion you should come and visit this place. There are many public cruise options available here. This city has been chosen by National Geographic Adventure magazine as one of the United States top waterfront towns.

The city’s main attractions are the historic Maryland State House and the United States Naval Academy. The State House, built in 1772, is the oldest in continuous legislative use in the United States. The United States Naval Academy is an undergraduate college that educates and commissions officers of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

Visitors can see sailboats of every description in its famous City Dock.

The City Dock is the heart of historic downtown Annapolis. Here, you will see pleasure boaters showing off their boats as they cruise.

There are also restaurants lining up in the dock area. The site of the city’s summer band concerts is the adjacent waterside park and at the end of the dock is a plaque that commemorates the 1767 arrival of Kunta Kinte, Alex Haley’s African ancestor as told in the book “Roots.”

Visitors can also dine and shop at Main Street. Main Street offers a wide selection of stores offering designer clothes, fine jewelries, antiques and souvenir items.

Walk all the way up Main Street and you will find Church Circle and St. Anne’s Church.

Orlando Attractions



One of the great places to spend a family vacation is Orlando, Florida. This is one of the best places to spend time with family especially with kids. This park is full of high-powered excitement. Its featured attractions are the Simpsons Ride, Shrek-4D, Revenge of the Mummy, Men in Black, and E.T. Adventure. You will definitely have great fun with your kids.

If you or your kids love the rides then come and experience cutting edge rides at Orlando’s Islands of Adventure. This theme park has a lot of attractions too which brings to life your favorite stories, cartoons, and comic book heroes to name a few.

Come early to Magic Kingdom and watch the opening show where you will get to see Snow White, Cinderella, Mikey Mouse and more. It’s fun to see them dance and sing.

And if you’ve heard of  “Pirates of the Caribbean” it is one of Magic Kingdom’s popular attractions based on the movie. Experience the ride which has gone even better with the addition of Captain Jack Sparrow. The imposing fortress at the end of Adventureland is home to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The queue twists and turns in a darkened and cool underground cavern will lead you to the boat ride. Once on board, you’ll float through a cave that leads to a quick and dark plunge. As your boat enters be on the look out for Captain Jack Sparrow. If you’ll miss him you’ll miss the thrill. So look out left and right and don’t miss one of those barrels. He will pop up from there. Your ten minutes here will be full of fun and excitement.

Don’t miss Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safaris too where you will experience riding off into the savannah in an open-air safari vehicle for a thrilling animal-filled African expedition. The twists and turns of the safari vehicle is fun and exciting as you watch animals roam freely across acres of savannah, rivers and rocky hills. If you are lucky enough you may even catch a glimpse of one of their baby animals. One caution though is that you must be in good health if you want to experience this ride.

Explore the park and get up close and personal to love birds like this.

A visit to Orlando is not complete without a trip to the Kennedy Space Center. It’s just east of Orlando’s most popular attractions. Though the entrance fee is quite expensive the visit would be an intellectual experience for adults and kids. You will get to see NASA’s launch headquarters, tour the launch areas, train in spaceflight simulators and if you are fortunate enough view an actual launch.

Chocolate Hills and Tarsier



One of the best sightseeing places in the Philippines is Bohol. It is here that you will find  some of the world’s wonders. It is particularly famous of its world renowned Chocolate Hills and Tarsier, the smallest know primates.

Bohol Province is one of the Philippines sightseeing places not only because of its famous Chocolate Hills and Tarsier but also because of its century old churches.

The Tarsier is no larger than a man’s hand. It is about 15 cm in height and between 115 to 130 in weight. It has huge and steady eyes. They are specially protected and are considered part of the country’s natural heritage.

Bohol is best known for its Chocolate Hills, its most famous attraction. It is not man made but a true beauty of nature. The hills look like a woman’s full breast and are uniform in shape. They are mostly covered with grass and turns chocolate brown during the dry season. Its height is about 30-50 meters. It is estimated that there are about 1,268 hills in the area. It’s an amazing view that you should not miss to see.

Come and experience the Loboc River Cruise, an hour cruise in a floating restaurant along the Loboc river. The floating restaurants offer Filipino delicacies with matching serenades. While enjoying the food you will also get a good view of the lush green landscape while navigating the river.

Another attraction is one of the oldest stone church in the Philippines, the Baclayon Church, which was built by the Jesuits in 1596. Located in the town of Baclayon, a six kilometer drive from Tagbilaran City, the church’s massive edifice still retains its century old arhitectural design. Most of its interesting relics an artifacts are now stored in the museum inside the convent.

And if you love swimming there are nice beaches in Bohol too.

Niagara Falls



The Niagara Falls are 17 miles north-northwest of Buffalo, New York and 75 miles south-southeast of Toronto, Ontario or between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York. It is composed of two major sections, the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side of the border and the American Falls on the United States side. The falls is known to be the source of hydroelectric power in the area.

Among the Niagara Falls attractions are the Aquarium of Niagara, the Conference Center Niagara Falls, the Daredevil Museum, the Flight of Angels, the Haunted House, the Niagara Aerospace Museum, the Niagara’s Wax Museum of History, the Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours, the Seneca Niagara Casino, the Smokin Joes Family Fun Center, the Thrill Ride Niagara, and the Thunder Theater/JD Gifts.

Time management is important when visiting especially those traveling with the whole family. There are a lot of things to do here. The State Park itself is quite big and takes a lot of riding and walking. A must-see places are the Cave of the Winds, the Goat Island, the Luna Island, the Maid of the Mist Boat Tour, the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, the Niagara Scenic Trolley, the Observation Tower, the Prospect Point, the Terrapin Point, the Three Sisters Islands, and the Niagara Visitor Center’s Niagara: Legends of Adventure Movie.

You may purchase your gifts and souvenirs at Daredevil Museum, Falls Side Cafe & Souvenirs, Honeymoon Capital Souvenirs, Maid of the Mist Giftshop, Souvenirs at the Pointe, Three Sisters Trading Post, Thunder Theater/JD Gifts, Top of the Falls Giftshop and World Duty Free. There are also choices of fabulous restaurants. Take your pick of places like the Hard Rock Cafe, Bada Bean, Denny’s at Days Inn, Donatello’s, Kohinoor at Econo Lodge, Legends Bar and Grill, Misty Dog, Old Falls Grill at Crowne Plaza, Peppertree at Sheraton, and the Punjabi Dhaba to name a few.

Come for the view at Skylon Tower, Niagara’s most famous landmark and enjoy the breath-taking views of the Falls, Niagara Gorge, dazzling cityscape and the Toronto & Buffalo skylines. Admission to ride and observation decks are free when dining. The Skylon offers two levels of fine dining. One is the Revolving Dining Room. Here, lunch or dinner is rivaled only by the view. You can relax and enjoy the food as the room revolve silently 360 degrees once each hour. Dine by night and you’ll discover the magic created by the Falls illumination and dazzling city lights below. They also have fireworks show at 10:00 PM on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Atlantic City Attractions



Atlantic City in New Jersey is home to luxurious casino hotels and resorts, world-class entertainment, spas, nightlife, fine dining, boardwalk, golf, fun attractions, fishing, water sports and shopping. Day and night, you’ll find fast-paced excitement and non-stop activities here.

The city is known for its boardwalk which is said to have been made to keep the sand off of the luxurious hotel carpets and not to make the place famous. It is indeed a good idea since it makes walking more convenient. You’ll find the boardwalk’s favorite vehicles here — the rolling chairs and bicycles — especially in the summer. The boardwalk is quite a stretch of approximately 2 miles beginning at the North end of the boardwalk at New Jersey Avenue.

Here, you will find the Showboat Hotel and Casino and just beyond that is the Garden Pier, home to the Atlantic City Historical Museum and Art Center. A few blocks from the museums is Michigan Avenue where you will find the original site of the Iron Pier, later known as the Heinz Pier.

Straight ahead are the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Steel Pier, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, the Central Pier, Claridge Tower, Bally’s Atlantic City, Wild Wild West Casino at Bally’s, Ceasars and much much more.

You will also find strolling in the boardwalk more enjoyable as you get to see the great view of the ocean, the birds and people walking. There are also souvenir stores and specialty shops along the boardwalk lining in between luxurious casino hotels.

It is also great to shop here. The Atlantic City Outlets features well-known retail outlets like Bass, Banana Republic, Nautica, Gucci, Ann Taylor to name a few. The outlets offer big discounts too, which in some cases as much as 70%.

It has beautiful white sandy beaches too. The beach is a perfect place to unwind or just chill out.

Nightlife and entertainment here will also leave you wanting for more. At its famous Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City’s premier entertainment center, you’ll find great shows of many of today’s top stars.
